If you plan to use two or three browsers on your system or across devices, the biggest pain point is bookmarks and login credentials getting distributed. You can sync login credentials using password managers, but what about bookmarks? Thankfully, there is a trick to sync bookmarks across browsers or devices.

Microsoft Edge Sync is an exemplary feature that lets you access your browsing data across all your signed-in devices. Step 1. Sign in to Microsoft Edge

You must be signed in to Edge using your Microsoft account before you can sync your bookmarks and other browsing data. If you have already set up your Edge or Windows 10 PC using your Microsoft account, you can skip this step.

On Edge for Windows 10, you need to do the following steps:

  1. Click on the Start button > go to Settings.
  2. Click on Accounts > Sign in with a Microsoft account.
  3. Sign in with a Microsoft account in Windows 10
  4. Finally, type your account credentials, then click Sign in.

On Edge for Android or iOS, you must follow the below steps:

  1. Click the More options button in the bottom bar.
  2. Click on Settings > Sign in with a Microsoft account.
  3. Sign in to Microsoft Edge on Android or iOS
  4. Finally, type your account credentials, then click Sign in.
Step 2. Enable Sync in Microsoft Edge

Once you have signed in with your Microsoft account, you can now enable Sync inside Edge’s Settings. Also, you can choose to sync your favorites, passwords, and other data across devices you have signed in with the same account.

On Edge for Windows 10, you need to do the following steps:

  1. Click on the Start button > open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click the profile icon/image in the browser’s top bar.
  3. Click on Manage profile settings, then click on Sync.

  5. On Your profile page, click the Turn on sync button.
  6. Toggle on Favorites and click Confirm to enable Sync.

On Edge for Android or iOS, you must follow the below steps:

  1. Click the More options button in the bottom bar.
  2. Click on Settings, then click your email under Accounts.
  3. Open Accounts settings in Edge for Android or iOS
  4. On the Account screen, click on Sync under Sync settings.
  5. Toggle the Sync option and check Favorites under Data items.
